It's been eight years since Batman disappeared into the night - since the hero turned into a fugitive. Accused of the death of Harvey Dent, the dark knight sacrifices everything, together with the Commissioner Gordon, for what he considers the greater good. And for a while their lie actually worked. Criminal activity in Gotham was crushed by the strength of Dent's legacy. But everything changes with the arrival of a cunning thief and her mysterious interests. But even more dangerous is the arrival of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham force Bruce from his voluntary exile. Though he once again puts on his mask and a dark cape, his strength may not be enough to stop Bane.
