Synopsis: It's been eight years since Batman disappeared into the night - since the hero turned into a fugitive. Accused of the death of Harvey Dent, the dark knight sacrifices everything, together with the Commissioner Gordon, for what he considers the greater good. And for a while their lie actually worked. Criminal activity in Gotham was crushed by the strength of Dent's legacy. But everything changes with the arrival of a cunning thief and her mysterious interests. But even more dangerous is the arrival of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham force Bruce from his voluntary exile. Though he once again puts on his mask and a dark cape, his strength may not be enough to stop Bane.

Christopher Nolan: Christopher Nolan (1970) is British-American screenwriter and director. He graduated in English literature from University College London. His first works were in short film. He established himself with his feature-film debut Following (1998), and gained renown for his thrillers Memento (2000) and Insomnia (2002). He continued to ride the wave of success with such films as the trilogy of Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
