Synopsis: Summer holidays are finally here! The Famous Five, George, Julian, Dick, Anne and their dog Timmy set out on their first journey by bike on their own - unaccompanied by parents. While camping, the kids encounter a strange boy named Hardy. They try to get rid of him, but then Dick is kidnapped! He was mistaken for Hardy, the son of business tycoon, by kidnappers. Their instincts lead the Famous Five to a medieval castle, where they learn that the thugs are hunting for the legendary "Green Eye", the most valuable jewel of the world. The chase is on and the Famous Five are in pursuit...

Mike Marzuk: Mike Marzuk (1969) is a German screenwriter and director. Aside from a number of advertising and music clips, his authorial work includes five feature films - WWGW (2006), Summer (Sommer, 2008), Rock It! (2010), and Famous Five (Fünf Freunde, 2012), for which he made the sequel Famous Five 2 (Fünf Freunde 2, 2013). He has made several screenplays and has established himself as a film editor. He also enjoys writing lyrics and composing music.
