Synopsis: One spring morning, the animals wake-up from their winter sleep and discover that the forest has been turned into a city. Hedgehog has a brilliant idea for how they can all survive in the big city; they could earn money by helping people! The only question is: what will an animal do with so much money?

Evalds Lacis: Evalds Lacis (1974) is a Latvian cameraman, animator, screenwriter and director. He graduated in cinematography from the Latvian Cultural Academy. He's worked for a long time at the AB film studio (Animacijas Brigade) in Riga. He made his debut as a director with the animated short film The New Species (Jauna Suga, 2008). He further made the short films Ice Master (Ledus Pavelnieks, 2009) and Hedgehogs and the City (Ezi un Lielpilseta, 2012).
