Synopsis: What happens to a baker when nobody wants to buy his cakes and Danish pastries? This film is inspired by the Norwegian poet Inger Hagerup's poem There Lives an Old Baker.

Kine Aune: Kine Aune (1943) is a Norwegian screenwriter, director and producer. The beginnings of her children's productions were at the Norwegian communications company NRK. Her first short film was Kjenne-f?tter-leken (1981), which ushered in the birth of many more short feature, TV, documentary and animated films and commercials. Her works have been presented at international festivals and have won her numerous awards. Her own production studio Kinefilm specializes in animation.
