Synopsis: "You guys have no idea how to play a beautiful game. You're just all buncha' stumbling losers, and that's why you all play in this bush-league." Few coaches would be able to describe his team's game any better. Slavojem Houslice has had many players and coaches in the past, but he is the only one to have left his mark in history. This film is about the legendary coach Pepik Hnátek, for whom football is his whole life. Even more than life itself. The film is based on the same-titled popular television series. The storyline of the film takes place some time before the series begins, when the players address the issue of whether they will fulfill the last wishes of their deceased leader Pepik Hnátek and throw his ashes in the center circle of the Houslice pitch.

Jan Prušinovský: Jan Prušinovský (1979) is a Czech screenwriter and director. He graduated from FAMU with the film Frank is a Womanizer (2008), which was also his feature film debut. From his other film works we'll mention the sports comedy District League: Pepík Hnátek's Last Stand (2012).
