Synopsis: Trying to outsmart Fortune doesn't pay! Filip is a chimney sweep's son who was born unlucky. When he's at his lowest point, he meets the beautiful Hana, who is imprisoned by the brute Karlos. In an effort to gain her love - and also to rid himself of his bad luck - Filip sets out into the world. A fateful encounter with a pathological liar awaits him; he's a man who's lied so much that he doesn't even know his own name, going by the name of Whoever. Strangely enough, with the help of this hilarious confederate, Filip finds his beloved Hana and enters into an uneven struggle.

Jiří Strach: Jiří Strach (1973) is a film and television director and actor. He graduated in directing from FAMU. Despite playing dozens of roles in films of various genres since childhood, he mainly devotes himself to directing, mostly in television. Of his latest works we should mention, e.g., the films The Flood (Povodeň, 2005), Operation Silver A (Operace Silver A, 2007), BrainStorm (2008), and The Lost Gate (Ztracená brána, 2012). Working with Czech Television he has shot the audience hit An Angel of the Lord (Andel páne) and the noteworthy dramatic comedy Wrinkles from Love (Vrásky z lásky, 2012).
