Synopsis: This is a story of inspiration, discovery and love. A son born to a rural family in Taiwan, blind Yu Siang was a curious and precocious child. Touch and sound was everything to him. With the love of his mother and support of his family, he grew up with no barriers; that is until he had to face the real world as he left his family behind in order to attend university where he had to compete on the same level as the sighted students. He soon crossed paths with Jie, a beautiful but frustrated cold drinks vendor who dreams of being a dancer but whose struggles against the harsh realities of her life render her helpless. However, when she witnesses Yu Siang's fearless determination and understands his optimism and inner peace, she is inspired and determined to hold on to her dream.

CHANG Jung-Chi: Chang Jung-Chi (1980) is one of the most promising directors from Taiwan. He graduated from the School of Applied Media Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts. He co-directed the documentary My Football Summer (2006), with which he established himself at many festivals. His short graduation film The End of the Tunnel (2008) was also successful. The drama Touch of the Light (2012) is his feature-length debut.
