Synopsis: Troy Billings is seventeen, overweight, and suicidal. Just as he's about to jump in front of a bus, he's saved by Marcus, a charming high school dropout/street musician. The two begin an uneasy friendship when Marcus enlists the musically challenged Troy to become the drummer in a new punk rock band. As Troy's relationship with Marcus grows, Troy's father becomes increasingly concerned about his son's new friendship.

Matthew Lillard: Mattew Lillard (1970) is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Circle in the Square theater school. His award-winning acting talent has been shown in dozens of successful TV and feature films, both Hollywood and independent productions. As a director, he gave us the short drama Come Home Soon (2009). The comedy Fat Kid Rules the World (2012) is his feature debut.
