Synopsis: One day, Jeník, an ordinary grade school boy not very popular with his classmates, gets a gift from his father - large cocoons of exotic butterflies. One of them, quite unexpectedly, hatches a tiny fairy, which the boy names Uguru. The boy takes the other hatched butterflies to a botanical garden, but the fairy eventually wants him to rescue them. The small fairy must hide from both the boy's mother and from his best friend Lucie.

Břetislav Pojar: Břetislav Pojar (1923-2012) was an important Czech animator, screenwriter and director. He studied briefly at Academy of Fine Arts and at the College of Architecture. At first he worked as a studio artist and illustrator at the Film Trick Studio (Ateliér filmových triků). He was at the founding of the famous Bratři v Triku studio and was a top creative personality for forty years at the Jiří Trnka Studio. He made more than seventy animated movies, such as The Lion and the Song (Lev a písnička, 1959), the series Hey, Mister, Let's Play (Pojďte, pane, budeme si hrát, 1965-1967) and Garden (Zahrada, 1974).
