Synopsis: Stories about 8-year-old Ivan, who is bullied at school and derided at home by his brawny father. Though his biceps are small, the boy possesses a fertile imagination. This and making the acquaintance of a philosophical harbour-front crane operator serve to help Ivan come out on top.

Soren Kragh-Jacobsen: Soren Kragh-Jacobsen (1947) is a screenwriter, director, musician, and one of the founders of the Dogma 95 film movement. He graduated in documentary film from FAMU in Prague and made his debut with the feature-length film Wanna See My Beautiful Navel? (Vil du se min smukke navle?, 1978), captivated audiences with the comedy Emma's Shadow (Skyggen af Emma, 1988), and fully established himself with the family drama Mifune (1999). From his other works we'll mention, e.g., What No One Knows (Det som ingen ved, 2008) and he co-directed the TV series Borgen (2010).
