Synopsis: A somewhat mysterious sad woman, Karen, almost as if against her will, associates herself with a group of eccentrics who pretend to be mentally disabled at various places and in various situations. She starts living with them at a villa that is temporarily in the possession of their informal leader Stoffer. After overcoming some barriers, she joins in on their seemingly frivolous play, whose aim is the traditional provocation of bourgeois society. But cohabitation and Stoffer's escalating "ideological" demands begin to erode the bizarre community. The dangerous game is turned against the players and ends with the disintegration of the group.
