Synopsis: This comedy is a modern religious fable about belief and the fight between good and evil. Adam is a neo-Nazi, who is sent on community service with the priest Ivan. Ivan gives Adam the task of baking an apple pie with apples from the tree in front of the church. Meanwhile birds, worms and lightning attack the apples. Ivan believes it is the Devil testing them, but Adams believes it is God, because it might be that evil does not even exist.

Anders Thomas Jensen: Anders Thomas Jensen (1972) is a screenwriter and director. He was self-taught in the film arts. He received the prestigious Oscar for his short comedy Election Night (Valgaften, 1998). Continuing in the same genre, he successfully made his debut feature film Flickering Lights (Blinkende Lygter, 2001). His filmography includes the black comedy The Green Butchers (De gronne slagtere, 2004) and the drama Adam's Apples (Adams aebler, 2005). He's worked as a screenwriter with renowned filmmakers.
